Model comparison
Wan, MiniMax, Seedance, and Kling: choosing by workflow
viddeep ·
There is no single model choice for every video. Begin with the input you have, the output you need, and the controls exposed in the generator. This is a comparison of supported workflows in viddeep, not a benchmark or a claim that one model wins on quality or speed. Options and credit quotes can change; the current generator is the final reference.
Start with text, an image, or references
Use text to video for a new scene described in words. Use image to video when a particular starting composition matters. Reference to video is a separate workflow for supported reference inputs. A model name alone does not tell you which inputs a particular tool accepts.
Before comparing settings, decide what you must preserve. For a real product, an owned source photo is a stronger starting point than a description of the packaging. Even with an image, fine detail and identity may drift, so include output review in the workflow.
Wan 3.0 and MiniMax H3: check format and style controls
The Wan 3.0 tools expose 480p, 720p, and 1080p choices. They are available for text prompts and image start frames through the corresponding tools. Use the visible duration options and credit quote when planning an experiment rather than assuming a setting from another product’s Wan integration.
MiniMax H3 video controls include 480p, 540p, 768p, and 1080p with durations from 3 to 15 seconds. Compatible LoRA variants expose style controls, and not every style is available in every operation. If you want a camera-motion or retro-cartoon example, manually select the compatible model and style; a prompt preset does not do that automatically.
Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0: compare the selected tier
Seedance 2.5 Standard offers output settings from 480p to 4K and durations from 4 to 30 seconds. Turbo offers 720p and 1080p. Treat these as different configurations; a tier name is not evidence of a quality or latency advantage in your particular scene.
Kling 3.0 has Standard and Pro options with durations from 3 to 15 seconds. Enabling generated sound increases the quoted cost when that control is available. Choose the exact tier and audio setting before comparing quotes. A prompt requesting dialogue is not a substitute for checking audio support.
Vidu Q4 Preview: an image-to-video option
In the image-to-video tool, Vidu Q4 Preview takes one source image and exposes 540p through 4K output with durations from 3 to 16 seconds. This integration does not offer it an optional end frame. If a workflow depends on two endpoints, check another supported model’s upload controls.
A higher resolution will not repair a weak starting image or an unclear action. First decide whether the motion and composition work at a practical test setting. Then compare the cost of a higher-resolution attempt if the model supports it.
Make a fair comparison for your own scene
Keep the scene, input image, aspect ratio, and intended duration as similar as the tools allow. Record the exact model tier, controls, quote, and observed result. Evaluate continuity, adherence to the requested action, edge stability, and usable framing. Avoid turning one successful clip into a general model ranking.
Do not promise private uploads, watermark-free output, or automatic commercial clearance based on model choice. Reference uploads use public file links while stored. Commercial use depends on the model’s terms and your rights to the content. Review the final file and relevant terms before publishing.
